Like Elaine Bailey’s beautiful painting above, “Finally Spring” you’ll be able to enjoy all that Spring has to offer by visiting the Land of Waterfalls Art Gallery.

On April 24 or April 26, from 1-4 pm, you must come by the gallery and see Jacolyn Campbell, our very own, well-known local jewelry artisan and newest consignee at Land of Waterfalls Art Gallery, demonstrating her expertise in the art of gold wire and gemstones by creating some of her beautiful jewelry. I’ve been fortunate to know Jacolyn for quite some time now and always enjoy watching her work - and I know you will too!

As I’m doing my own shows and painting during them, I can’t tell you how many people just stand around and watch me work. I always enjoy the banter between me and the people watching - so I strongly suggest you have yourself a little more fun by stopping in the gallery on April 25th - and you’ll have the great opportunity of watching the artists of the gallery do their work — and the best part — you’ll get to see how they do it - And I bet you, that each one has their own style and method of doing things — for instance, I like to use paper towels to do my clouds - not just any brand either - so how do these amazing artisans’ do their clouds? Well, you just are going to have to go on over to the gallery in Cedar Mountain and check it out. Who knows what great “secret” tip you’ll take home with you –

Here’s the schedule for the open house at the Land of Waterfalls Gallery on Scenic 276 in Cedar Mountain - They’ve included April 24th in the schedule - so that even gives you a little more time to enjoy every bit of the Studio Stroll throughout the entire weekend.

As an added treat the Gallery will be announcing a winner each of the 3 days (April 24, 25, 26) for a piece of artwork from the gallery. Each person will need to register their name to be in the drawing each day. So make sure you get out there - I’m certainly planning on it - I don’t want to miss this event! And with the fresh breath of spring in the air - I always find myself wanting a little something to feather my nest - don’t you?

And then some of the May events are as follows:
May 9 - 1-3 PM Paint around in the gallery. 5 artists painting at once on each others’ work. The finished works will be in the gallery until June 20 for a silent auction with 50% of the proceeds going to Sharing House. At 3 PM - the winners will be announced at our 1 year anniversary Open House.

May 16 7 AM until–? - Annual Flea Market at the Cedar Mountain Business Park. Special prices on selected art work - gallery open all day.
