When we had our cabin available to rent - the first question people asked when they called was - “Can I bring my dog?” We, of course, were always pet friendly and while we haven’t rented our cabin for several years now, I thought it would be helpful to give you a few locations here in Transylvania County up in the mountains of Western North Carolina — Brevard, Lake Toxaway, Cedar Mountain that do have pet friendly or even horse friendly locations. Please feel free to ask questions and I’ll try and find out what I can for you.

But here’s a list at the end of this post to start you off - most are off Hwy 276 but Seven Foxes is in beautiful Lake Toxaway - And if you have a pet friendly rental here in Transylvania County - please let me know and I will add it to the list.

Now if you have a motorcycle, are biking the region, hiking, horseback riding - many or all of these places would be perfect and I expect they would happily refer you to someone who does fit your needs.
